Greetings from Waterville, ME,
Plans and arrangements are proceeding nicely for the upcoming ministry trip to Ethiopia; 10/17—11/10. Our God continues to provide. As of today, our budget is short only $2650.00 and we are still 34 days from departure PTL.
Exciting News from…
Kenya:
Despite the fact that I have not been in Kenya since 2018, due to the pandemic and other contributing factors, I continue to have correspondence with several active ministers and mentees who continue to multiply the trainings they received when I was in country. One example is a passionate minister to former criminals, drug addicts, young people including the incarcerated and those who are simply physically and spiritually destitute. I hope to soon re-establish mentorship and training sessions online with him and some of the leaders in his movement.
Here: Isreal and his team are providing physical and spiritual nourishment to many Ethiopian immigrants who have been arrested for being in Kenya illegally as they are on their way to South Africa to find jobs there. Many of whom are being ministered to daily by Israel and company become Jesus followers and will be discipled by Isreal and his ministry leaders. So, there remains an ongoing and ever-growing need to develop and release more leaders into the harvest.
Matthew 9:36–38 (ESV)
36When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
37Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;
38therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
